#2: Happy Birthday

A long time ago, society decided that women would be the caretakers of the home, the children, and all things that were related to the home. And whilst this way of life might have been tolerated and even enjoyed way back when we have been experiencing a new age of life for quite some time now…

But considering that so much time has passed since then, it is truly puzzling why someone would be asked to cut a birthday cake in the office purely because she is a woman. We didn’t realize that cutting a birthday cake was a gendered activity… Maybe that way of thinking should extend to eating the cake as well.
