Prevent the Heat from Escaping
We’ve already discussed how windows and entryways are incredibly vulnerable to cold weather. They are our most prominent spots for losing heat in the winter. And the larger the entryway, the more heat that will escape. This means that your garage door is a massive liability in the winter. So, you may want to consider insulation for your door.

You’d be surprised how much the cold air entering your garage can reduce the temperature throughout your home. So, try adding a bit of insulation to the back of your door. You can purchase insulation from the store or go the frugal way and just put blankets and towels in strategic locations to block out drafts.
