A Fan of Winter
You probably wouldn’t ever dream of using a ceiling fan in winter, now, would you? Ceiling fans are for summer weather to create a cool breeze on those stifling, sticky July nights. However, you’re only partly correct. As you may or may not know, you can use a ceiling fan to help regulate your home’s temperature in winter, too.

You already know that hot air rises, right? Well, you may never have noticed it before, but there’s a switch on your ceiling fan that can reverse the direction of the blades. By switching the direction, the blades will push the warm air back down into the room. You’ll be surprised how much this can help you stay warm.
