Getting Ignored

What a heart-wrenching story. It’s never easy to hear about someone being rejected by a parent, especially when they’ve spent so much time trying to connect with them. It’s understandable that the half-siblings wouldn’t want to upset their mother, but it’s still a tough pill to swallow for the person who was hoping to reconnect with their biological mother.

It’s a shame that she stood them up and blocked them, but maybe it’s for the best. Who needs a mom who will play games like that, anyway? Surrounding yourself with people who love and support you unconditionally is better. Who needs a mom when you have a chosen family who loves you just the way you are?
