Someone’s relatives have been watching too much “Dances with Wolves.” Just because you can tan doesn’t mean you have Native American ancestry. It’s like assuming you’re part mermaid just because you like swimming. The DNA test doesn’t lie – you can’t fake your genetic makeup. At least these relatives can embrace their whiteness without any confusion. 

In all seriousness, it’s important to acknowledge and appreciate this family’s cultural heritage, but it’s also important to get your facts straight. Maybe these relatives should invest in a history book instead of a tanning bed. All in all, this story is a good reminder to never assume things without any solid evidence.
