#49: Suspicions Confirmed

Sometimes, some things are better left unsaid. Even if we suspect something to be true or false, we don’t want to put people on the spot and force them to confront personal matters. This peron’s family suspected that he was not attracted to women, but no one ever talked about it or tried to confirm it.

Maybe they wanted to allow him the time to talk about it on his own terms. Maybe they preferred not to know the truth and leave it at that. It’s a shame that he could never talk about this with his family; it sounds like they would’ve been understanding and supportive.
