#27: Grandma’s Confidant
It’s not uncommon for people to choose to use medical drugs to manage various health conditions and symptoms, but they often keep it hidden from family members due to the stigma that can still surround it. They don’t want to be judged, misunderstood, or risk their relationship with family members who might frown upon this practice.

For whatever reason, this grandma chose to hide this aspect of her life from most of her family, except for our storyteller, who she chose as her confidant. She confided with them and even asked for their help issuing a card and driving her around. After her passing, the rest of the family finally found out, but our storyteller managed to keep it a secret for her sake.
