#12: Packing Up Your Life

This one isn’t a secret, but a heartbreaking realization. This OP’s father was dying of cancer and spent the final months of his life in hospice at home. Knowing that he only had a few months left to live, he started packing some of his most treasured personal items in storage bins.

Perhaps he was did it to make things easier for his kids when they had to pack up his things. Who knows? Either way, seeing these organized storage bins containing his father’s personal items was extrmemly sad and heartbreaking for our storyteller. The thought of him packing up his life in containers was too much to handle.
