#10: Attention Seeking

If I was a lion stuck in a zoo enclosure all day, I’d probably be pretty bored too. I mean, what else do they have to do? So I guess it’s not too surprising that they resort to banging on the glass and trying to get people’s attention. They’re saying, “Hey, look at me! I’m a lion!”

“I’m fierce, powerful, and trapped in this tiny space, but I’m still awesome!” I can’t blame them for wanting some attention, but it’s still a little bit unnerving when they start pawing at the glass like that. It’s like they’re testing the limits – they know they can’t break through, but they’re trying to see how far they can push things.
