#60: The Circle of Life

There are some animals that, like human beings, carry their babies in their wombs and give birth in a similar way; they are called mammals. Whilst they are not too much like humans in other ways, this important life process ties certain animals and humans together.

However, human beings aren’t capable of doing what cows can if a fetus dies inside of its uterus and is not taken out. The fact that the cow’s body knows to do something like this on its own is kind of miraculous. Not only does it physically deal with it, but it also turns the situation into a less traumatic one for the animal.
