Using military talk without any actual military experience can be a little cringe-worthy. Don’t get me wrong, I have a deep respect for our troops and their sacrifices, but it seems a bit silly when regular people try to mimic their language and make it sound cool…

The only place military talk should be tolerated is in the military. Otherwise, you sound a little bit lame. First of all, no one is going to take you seriously, and secondly, you are just going to come across like you are trying too hard… And let’s be honest, no one wants that.
