#7: Mint Condition Vintage
While retro stoves are certainly gorgeous, they’re also inconvenient. Sure, they look amazing and bring back a certain level of nostalgia. But most of us don’t want the trouble of installing and maintaining one in our own kitchen. Old stoves require professional installation as far as gas and electricity are concerned. There’s no way anyone should DIY that part.

Plus, vintage stoves use way more electricity than our modern-day appliances. They might look great and charming, but investing in one requires some serious consideration. They can be worth it if you really love all things vintage, but they’re not for everyone. In fact, some of us probably prefer our small electric stoves over a giant vintage gas stovetop.
