#6: A Vintage Coffee Grinder

These days, most people get their daily coffee from the local drive-thru rather than brewing it at home. Who has time to grind coffee on a daily basis? Back in the day, a fresh cup of coffee started with some freshly ground beans. This retro coffee grinder features a hand crank and a little glass jar on the bottom to catch the coffee grounds. 

According to the person who posted this photo, this grinder still works. They use it every day, which is pretty awesome. Imagine how delicious your kitchen would smell every morning when you freshly ground coffee beans with this grinder. Now that we think about it, maybe it’s not such a bad idea to grind your beans by hand. It would certainly make you slow down in the morning.
