#41: The Nut Buster

This nut grinder is a beloved family heirloom that is still going strong. It belongs to the grandmother of the original poster. According to their grandma, this kitchen tool is over 65 years old, which is pretty incredible. As we can see from the photo, it still chops up nuts in perfect order. 

This vintage nut grinder is by a brand named Androck or The Washburn Company, which was founded in the late 1800s. According to History Colorado, Androck kitchen appliances were incredibly popular between the 1920s and 1940s. They were known for their nut grinders and flour sifters, producing kitchen items until the 1970s.
