#22: A Precious Family Heirloom

If you’re of a younger generation, you probably have no idea what this is. Any guesses? It’s an old-fashioned nut grinder. The person who posted this gem said that they inherited it from their mom, who inherited it from her grandmother. After all these years, it’s still in working condition. 

A nut grinder isn’t exactly a kitchen staple these days. We can just buy pre-ground nuts at the store. But there’s something special about slowing down and doing something that your grandmother did many years ago. This grinder is pretty nifty. You simply pour the nuts into the yellow grinder, crank the handle, and you get a jar full of nuts.
