#14: A Potbelly Stove
Cast iron stoves used to be the norm back in the 19th century. These cast iron stoves often used wood or coal to heat and power them. If you own a cast iron skillet or pot, you know how heavy this material is. That’s why this mini potbelly stove is so mind-blowing. This “mini” stove was used by door-to-door salesmen back in the day.

Imagine lugging that thing around the neighborhood for demonstrations. No, thank you. The owner of this vintage potbelly stove posted this photo and explained that it only measured one foot high and four inches wide. Still, that thing is probably pretty heavy. At least buyers could tell if it worked when the salesman came to their house.
