#11: A Vintage Toaster

Most of us can’t live without a toaster in our kitchen. The thing is, there’s usually a love-hate relationship with said toaster. Why, oh why, can’t modern-day toasters evenly toast? The toaster has been around in one form or another for over a century. You’d think manufacturers would have the process down by now. 

If nostalgia is to be believed, many vintage toasters used to work a lot better than the ones we have today. Both sides of your toast would get evenly toasted, no problem. Well, there was one problem. A lot of vintage toasters were fire hazards. Whoops. This vintage toaster may look cool, but who knows if it’s actually safe to use?
