#22: A Reagan Campaign Pin
Someone was organizing their father’s things when they stumbled upon this old presidential campaign pin for none other than Ronald Reagan. Campaign pins have been around for decades, but this one caught our OP’s eye for a very obvious reason. Take a look. It says, “Reagan. Let’s make America great again.”

Sound familiar? The slogan that has become a mainstream line for a particular former president is actually not unique or original. Reagan used the slogan during his 1980 campaign. Before that, a young Margaret Thatcher used a similar phrase in 1950. When Thatcher was a 24-year-old parliament candidate, she ran on the platform “Make Britain Great Again.” History repeats itself in more ways than one.
