When it comes to promoting new films, there are many different ways that directors choose to go about doing so. However, there is no denying that the ways in which people advertise their upcoming films have changed significantly in the last 30 years. New films would be accompanied by extravagant cinema lobby displays for a long time.

And in 1935, this is what the cinema lobby display looked like for the Karl Freund film, Mad Love. It might not look nearly as realistic as some of the cinema displays you see today, but for 1935 it isn’t too bad.
