These days when you see someone do something out-of-this-world, it is rather impressive, even for 2022. So when you see something that makes you say “Wow” that isn’t from this time period, you know it is extra special… The fact that some people were even able to do these things way back when is impressive in and of itself.

Well, in 1937, Fritz Dietl, otherwise known as the Stilt-Man, was a professional ice skater who was well known for his tricks whilst skating on stilts. Pictured here with 4-year-old Pat Kemp, who he was practicing his skills with. Dietl became a world-renowned figure skater and even trained Olympic athletes. The remarkable man skated until his very last month of life in 2003.
