#29: Everyone Can Tell This Isn’t a Real Bunny

This photo looks like it was taken during an Easter celebration held in someone’s garage—and we are here for it. The “bunny” appears drawn or painted onto a human-sized cutout with just enough ghostly wear and tear to make it look like it’s trying to escape from the plywood background.

The child in the red sweater is losing it, mid-sob and clutching a toy for dear life, while the two girls on either side smile politely, possibly unsure whether to laugh or run. The beautifully weird, time-worn memory gets better with age and cracks.
