When you hear the name Kevin Bacon, you automatically hear “Kick off your Sunday shoes.” Best known for his early role in the 1984 movie Footloose, Kevin Bacon was already a well-known heartthrob when he met actress Kyra Sedgwick, who starred in Something to Talk About the same year. The couple met on the set of the play Lemon Sky, in 1988.

America’s sweethearts tied the knot in 1988 and have since become one of the longest Hollywood marriages in history, which is no small feat considering most celebrity marriages end within the first three years. Living their love in the public eye has clearly made no mark on their union throughout the decades. The pair have two children, Sosie and Travis.
