Sylvester Stallone and Brigitte Nielsen, 1985

American actor Sylvester Stallone met Brigitte Nielsen, a Danish model and co-star in Rocky IV, at producer Irwin Winkler’s Hollywood party in 1985. It has been said that Nielsen and Stallone were both married when she reached out to the megastar in a letter left by his hotel room door. In the letter was a headshot and a request to meet. Quite bold on her part, but it worked out!

A curious Stallone went to meet her and within a few short months, they tied the knot and she became Mrs. Sylvester Stallone. They looked like a truly beautiful Hollywood couple on their wedding night, didn’t they? However, this marriage wasn’t meant to be, and the two separated after two years, in 1987. The actor has five children from different relationships.
