Alana Hamilton and Rod Stewart, 1979

In 1979, pop icon Rod Stewart married Alana Hamilton during a simple yet elegant ceremony, at L’Ermitage in Los Angeles, California. The blushing bride wore an off-the-shoulder lace gown (very appropriate for the times) and baby’s breath in her hair. Stewart and Hamilton had two children together before their divorce in 1985, Kimberly and Sean Stewart.

Rod Stewart went on to become one of the most celebrated and successful musicians of all time. He married Rachel Hunt a couple of years later, and when their union ended several years later, he married his current wife, Penny Lancaster. The two are still happily married and have six children together.
