Lorna Luft and Jake Hooker, 1977
Liza Minnelli’s half-sister Lorna Luft, who was also an actress and singer, married Jake Hooker in 1977. Hooker who co-wrote “I Love Rock & Roll” made famous by Joan Jett met Luft, who is also the daughter of renowned star Judy Garland after his band The Arrows parted ways.

Hooker later moved to Los Angeles with Luft to focus on managing her acting career. The couple had two children together, but this marriage wasn’t meant to be, and they divorced in 1994. Hooker went on to have a satisfactory career as a producer, author, and manager in the L.A. area.
