#48: Sweet Tooth

Fall is the perfect time of year to really enjoy all the different types of root vegetables, considering that they are in abundance. Generally speaking, pumpkin and butternut squash often steal the show in the fall, but what about the sweet potato?

We know this one is a little strange, but this isn’t the first time we have ever heard of it. And yes, it is served in the mains part of the evening, alongside the turkey. It isn’t completely clear why people top an already naturally sweetened vegetable with marshmallows, all we can say is… Americans.
