The kid’s table was the kind of place that was capable of being the best and the worst place to sit all at the same time. You might be with all the other kids, but you aren’t allowed to leave…

As a kid, there was nothing worse than having to listen to grown-ups talk for hours and hours about things that not only made no sense to you but were also incredibly boring for a child. But as long as the adults were seated, so were the kids… It truly was some form of Thanksgiving torture.
