#30: Pea-lease Stop
Like many kids, growing up in the 90s meant that mothers cooked and fathers did not. So whenever my dad had made something for the whole family to eat, you felt that it was your duty as a member of this family to at least try this mystery dish.

As a kid, the word souffle means absolutely nothing to you if it doesn’t have the word chocolate in front of it. So when this guy’s dad insisted on making his steamed purred pea souffle, you can just imagine how his kids felt… Sometimes it is best to leave the cooking to mom.
