Unnecessary Comparisons
Weddings are an emotional time and understandable so. The family dynamics are changing, and families come together on both sides to unite the couple. While it’s generally a happy event, it comes with its fair share of emotions and mixed feelings. Mothers tend to have the hardest time with the transition as they let go of their babies.

Some mothers-in-law wait until the day of the wedding to express their true feelings about their kid’s future spouse. The absolute worst timing, if you ask us. One mother-in-law made a passive-aggressive comment to her daughter-in-law, comparing her to her daughter. It’s about the bride that day – she should have been lifting her spirits rather than putting her down.
