When it comes to your self-image, it’s important to remember how you feel about yourself is more important than how someone else thinks you should look. Keep in mind that people’s opinions of you are only reflections of themselves. You can choose to believe what they say or continue to love yourself the way you are.

Mothers-in-law can be rather blunt if they expect a certain body type for their kids’ spouse. In many cases, they will take a passive-aggressive approach to the subject by asking if you have lost weight, just to imply that maybe you should lose weight. The truth is that if your spouse loves you and you love you, no one else matters.
