Control Freak

Some people have to control everything, and some mothers want to control their children’s lives. Even when they’re grown up, and have left the nest, they still wish they had control over their children’s lives. Mostly, they want to be able to choose their partner for them. They do it because they think they know best.

Of course, no matter how well they know their children, they can’t decide who’s the perfect partner for them, and they shouldn’t. Everyone should be able to make their own decisions, and date whoever they see fit. They can express their objection and speak their mind, but trying to break them up? Come on, this isn’t a Hollywood movie.
