Paying a Compliment Doesn’t Cost a Thing
Some people just don’t know how to pay a compliment. For some reason, they can’t bring themselves to say to someone they look nice, or that the dish they’ve made is delicious. Usually, it’s out of resentment. Or jealousy. Or both. This seems to have been the case with this mother-in-law, who wouldn’t admit the dish her daughter-in-law made was delicious.

According to this woman, this is something that has happened to her mother, with her mother-in-law. She prepared a unique meal, and her mother-in-law wouldn’t admit that she liked it. Apparently, it took several years until she was finally prepared to admit it was delicious. We can’t imagine why it was so hard for her to pay a compliment for her daughter-in-law. Maybe because cooking is her thing, and she felt intimidated?
