Constantly talking to your parents about your marriage can be a remedy for trouble. Unless you have a parent who plays the neutral part and can understand both sides, they will usually take the side of their kid (quite understandably) and won’t be mutually beneficial for the married couple.

While this woman’s husband discusses all their fights with his mother, her mother-in-law proceeds to takes her son’s side and confirms to him that he has done nothing wrong. Rather than teaching him that he is perfect, she should encourage him to take responsibility for his part of the fighting in the relationship.
