Terrible Timing

There’s never a good time to meddle in a woman’s right to her body and tell her if she is or isn’t allowed to have a baby. But probably the worst time to hear you should terminate your pregnancy is when it’s coming from your future mother-in-law on your wedding day. She couldn’t have picked a worse time!

We don’t have any context here and we don’t know why this mil wanted this woman to terminate her pregnancy, but she must have known she was pregnant for some time, right? We can imagine she didn’t find out on their wedding day. So why did she decide to bring it up just then? As if that day isn’t stressful enough, on top of everything else, this woman had to deal with her mil’s craziness.
