#8: Lawyers Need Not Apply

This landlord is downright sketchy right off the bat. He rejected an application for an apartment based on the renter’s job as a lawyer. Wow. Clearly, this landlord is pulling a few tricks on his tenants and knows he wouldn’t be able to get away with his shenanigans with a lawyer around. There’s no other explanation.

We say that this renter dodged a bullet by not getting involved with this apartment building. Who knows what kinds of shady dealings this landlord is up to? Since he’s obviously worried that a lawyer will give him grief, then good for that lawyer for not being put through that hassle in the first place. We hope he found a friendly, law-abiding landlord instead.
