#6: Travel Bug

We admit we aren’t sure what to make of this one. Sure, it’s annoying to be contacted about our daily responsibilities when you’re trying to relax on vacation. But it’s also important to make sure that you’ve taken care of all your obligations and loose ends before heading out of town – work-wise, friends-wise and apartment-wise.

If the landlord is looking for rent that’s not due yet, that’s not cool. However, if this tenant left town without paying the rent that was due, we could agree the landlord didn’t do anything wrong by sending this text. And besides, did the landlord even know their renter was out of town? They’re not expected to know that. See, we’re not just trying to be harsh on landlords for no reason!
