#40: That Tile is Trash

When landlords cut corners, they really cut corners, and it usually backfires in one way or another. This landlord pleaded tile being too challenging to find, so his solution? Use a garbage bag to cover part of the shower wall. Somehow, that just doesn’t work for us. It feels a little flimsy, frugal, and altogether sad.

We really hope he only meant tiles were too difficult to find at the moment, so for a temporary fix, he would cover it with a garbage bag. It isn’t ideal, of course, but if he can’t find tile, at least he’s making an effort to cover up the pipes. However, if he’s just planning to leave the bag as a permanent solution, well, then, we’re out of words.
