If you rent an apartment in an old building, you should be fully aware of the potential problems that may arise. But so should the landlord renting out the place. Renting an old apartment comes with a price for the landlord and the tenant. It’s only fair that if the building is old, the rent should reflect that.

That’s basically what this Twitter user is saying, only in a funny way. The rent should reflect the state of the apartment and the building; people don’t mind putting in the big bucks on an apartment, but they want to know that they’re getting your money’s worth. If only landlords felt the same way…
