#27: Safety First

A landlord should be the first person to take fire safety seriously. After all, he has a lot to lose if a fire burns down his apartment. For one thing, he would lose his rental property, taking all the income with it. Not only that, heaven forbid somebody gets hurt, he could be blamed. So, we’d say fire extinguishers are the very least he should provide.

We’re not sure whether to laugh or cry, looking at this photo. If this landlord can’t be bothered to provide general fire extinguishers, we wonder what other corners he may be cutting. And is it just us, or does that look like a bottle of rubbing alcohol inside the firebox? Whatever you do, do not use that in case of fire!
