#23: A Dangerous Game

This landlord really takes the cake in avoidance. He knew there was a problem with the infrastructure of the building and ignored it. The renters made repeated calls for help and still got no response. One can only imagine their reaction when the ceiling eventually caved in. After their hearts stopped racing, they were probably livid with the landlord.

What this landlord did isn’t just mildly irritating – it’s downright dangerous. He was allowing a hazardous situation to fester, and he’s lucky that nobody got seriously injured (or worse). And then a large chunk of their apartment was unusable for months, but they still had to pay their full rent? This is what rock bottom looks like.
