#22: The Grass is Greener
It’s natural for a landlord to have certain expectations of renters when they move out. For example, they insist that you leave the place clean and take all items with you, including garbage. Some landlords will even expect you to have all your yard work caught up on before you vacate. That’s not unreasonable, right?

However, what isn’t reasonable is expecting your tenant to defy Mother Nature. It may state in the rental agreement that the lawn must be mowed upon move out, but it’s irrational to expect your tenant to do so in the middle of winter, when the lawn is covered in a foot of snow. We would have liked to hear him justify this charge!
