Some people still have to conceal their true feelings towards the same gender. Coming out about your sexual orientation, though we’re slowly becoming a more inclusive society, still isn’t easy – especially with your parents, who often have obsolete ideas and expectations about this matter.

It can be difficult, but some people might be able to get away with never revealing to their parents their sexual orientation, as this person did. When her parents noticed she didn’t bring her close ‘friend’ over anymore, but they didn’t know that was not because they weren’t friends anymore, but because she was now her ex.
