#56: Grandma Was a Miracle Patient
Grandmothers are one of the most special beings on Earth. They always have your back, teach you important life lessons and pamper you with things your parents probably wouldn’t. We often only appreciate how important grandmas are once we lose them, but it’s never too late to show them gratitude.

Even though people tend to care less and less about the elderly – it seems that the older you are the less interest people have in you – this granddaughter made sure to check on her granny and ended up ultimately saving her life! The most impressive thing about this story is that the doctors actually gave her granny a 1% chance of surviving, but she made it through the night regardless.
Thanks for joining us on the prime examples of why we should always listen to our gut feelings! I have my own story to share before you go. I was home sick from school one day when I was 13, and my mom hollered for me from the kitchen. She had set up something on the stove with water and Vicks vapor rub in it and wanted me to hold a towel over my head and breathe it in. I was in a bad mood and annoyed with her, so I said no. She came to drag me in there, and we heard a HUGE explosion. It turns out she’d used a glass Pyrex bowl over an open flame, and it had exploded! Sometimes teenage attitude is a good thing!
