#54: Online Dating is Risky

We all know of the risks involved in online dating, but sometimes, it works out for the best. This person’s gut instinct practically screamed at them that they shouldn’t go out on this date, and it turns out they were 100% right. If all it took was a single cancellation for him to start flipping out, that is a gigantic red flag. Even if he didn’t turn out to be a kidnapper, he still sounds dangerous.

I’ve always been very thankful that I’ve been able to meet people in person to get to know them. You never know who is behind that screen. I’ve heard from friends that they’ll think a person looks a certain way only to find out they’ve been completely catfished. I’ve also heard of love stories that started out on a dating app, but the internet is a scary place sometimes!
