#30: Not Much of a Party

There are two types of people in the world: the suspicious type and the trusting type. Those who are always suspicious and cautious and those who are more trusting and easy-going. Sometimes, it pays off to be the trusting type because you can meet new people and have exciting adventures, and other times, being the suspecting type pays off.

This person went to a party with his friend although they were reluctant to go from the beginning. When they got there, the whole area seemed sketchy, and something about this party seemed off, so they decided to trust their gut and bolted. As it turns out, it wasn’t actually a party, but a scam- the person who invited them to the party ended up getting robbed.
