#23: Moms Have Superpowers

Judging by the number of stories on this thread about moms who saved the day, I’m starting to believe moms actually have superpowers. Some people are closer to their parents and talk daily or weekly; others can go months without speaking to their parents; both are fine as long as both sides are happy. Every family is different.

It sounds like this mother and daughter don’t talk too often, but one night, this mom felt compelled to call her daughter, just because. It couldn’t have been a coincidence that earlier that evening, her daughter attempted to take her own life. I guess mothers are connected to their children in ways no one can explain.
