A Truly Scary Scarecrow

This person’s neighbor ruined trick-or-treating for her entire family. We know that sounds dramatic, but it’s kind of true. Her two-year-old was trick-or-treating for the first time ever, so she was naturally a little hesitant and shy about the whole thing. The very first house they decided to trick-or-treat at had a scarecrow seated on the front porch with a bowl of candy. 

As her toddler was about to reach for her candy, the scarecrow came to life and yelled. Naturally, the poor girl was totally freaked out and surprised. This “scarecrow” probably figured his trick was all in good fun, but our storyteller doesn’t feel the same way. Her kid is still scared to go trick-or-treating to this day!
