Most of the time, parents think that they are doing a good job of teaching their children the “right” way to be when in reality, they leave them with trauma. Let’s be honest; trying to spare someone from feeling something is a difficult thing to do… But when you’re a parent, you should probably be trying a little bit harder because not only are children often experiencing something for the first time, but they going to hold onto it.
