#16: Payoff Game

There is no denying that having children is one of the most expensive things you could ever do. From even before they are born, all these do is drain your money… As annoying as it might be, it is also the responsibility of the parents who decided to bring their child into the world to support them.

Can you imagine being told as a 7-year-old that you need to pay off your ER bill? There are plenty of ways to teach your children the value of money, but making them pay off a serious medical bill at the age of 7 by doing chores is not one of them. We can’t imagine the kind of psychological damage this might have had on this child.
