#39: Mutiny!
Clint Eastwood is so famous that he has a Hollywood rule named after him. That’s not necessarily a good thing. During the filming of The Outlaw Josey Wales, Clint Eastwood basically committed mutiny against the original director, Phil Kaufman. The two started on the wrong foot pretty quickly when filming began, and Eastwood took matters into his own hands.

Eventually, Eastwood convinced the Josey Wales producer to fire Kaufman and hire him as the new director. Rude. Because of Eastwood’s sneaky dealings, the Directors Guild of America created “The Eastwood Rule.” This rule prohibits an actor or producer from firing a director and then taking over the role themselves.
